Biography:
Darragh is from Fermoy in North Cork and undertook his Bachelor of Chemistry in University College Cork. During the summer between his third and fourth year, he undertook an internship underDr Lynette Keeney in Tyndall National Institute. After graduating, Darragh took part in the graduate programme at BioMarin Shanbally in which he undertook two 1-year rotations in Sterile Fill-Finish Manufacturing and Process Engineering. Darragh returned to UCC to study a Masters by research and joined the DJJ group in October 2025 to study the total synthesis of chiral organophosphorus natural products.
