The group welcomes Darragh and Lauren, who will be completing their postgraduate studies with us.
Darragh will undertake his one year MRes project in the group, investigating the stereoselective total synthesis of anti-malarial P-stereogenic natural products. Lauren, co-funded by Eli Lilly and Research Ireland, will develop a new approach to the Mitsunobu reaction with applications in the synthesis of medicinally relevant organophosphorus compounds.
